Get Your Camera Off Auto (4 tutorials) – starts Monday 26 November 2020
A first-timer’s module to help you get off the Auto mode and craft better photos
If you want to get the most out of your DSLR camera, it’s best to learn its different shooting modes, rather than just using full Auto all the time. With all the letters and symbols surrounding the dial (like M, Av, Tv, and P) it can get a bit confusing. Here’s a first-timer’s module to help you get off the Auto mode and craft better photos. If you’ve been trying various settings with mixed results, this module will give you a good foundation in the basics and move you on to the next level.
A series of 4 online tutorial sessions designed to help you understand your camera and explore some photography techniques concepts. The modules will be conducted on Zoom. Choose all 4 or just pay for individual tutorials
This module is perfect for anyone using a DSLR, CSC, Mirrorless, Advanced Compact, Bridge or any Camera with Shutter and Aperture priority controls. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions during each session
Tutorial 1. Basic camera controls (Monday November 26th at 6pm)
Tutorial 2. Aperture Priority Mode (Tuesday November 27th at 6pm)
Tutorial 3. Shutter Priority Mode (Wednesday November 28th at 6pm)
Tutorial 4. Composition (Thursday November 29th at 6pm)
The 4 topics will also be available as stand alone sessions and can be booked individually. I will need a minimum number to run each session. If the required number is not reached and the session or module does not run you will get a full refund before the start of the session
I will be running these tutorials on Zoom – it’s very easy but if you’re not familiar with Zoom don’t worry I can send you a pdf with all the relevant info. It’s a virtual classroom – you will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions and I will present the session as slides – all very visual and quite similar to what I do in a real classroom.
Each session will last about 1.5hrs. However they may over run if there are lots of Q’s!
Complete module (4 tutorials) – from £35
